After years of development, Nike introduced React technology in 2017, first making an appearance in basketball footwear. From there it became a must-have for runners and now it has made the first appearance in a skate shoe. If a lightweight and responsive cupsole shoe is what you are looking for, the Nike SB Bruin React checks all the boxes.
Bruin React Features

Cupsole Construction - This model is by far the most lightweight cupsole shoe I have ever skated in. The sole is flexible yet rigid enough to offer more protection than a vulcanized shoe. This makes my feet feel more protected and safe than a vulcanized shoe. Especially when you are 30 and trying to re-learn backside flips on flatground.

React Insole - The highlight of this shoe is the proprietary Nike React technology. It is lightweight and flexible but very comfortable and responsive. It truly is the best of both worlds.

Mixed Material Construction - The upper of the shoe is suede on the forefoot and nylon around the heel. The suede offers durability while the nylon let's your foot breath.

Grippy Outsole - Multiple traction patterns on the bottom of the shoe provide extensive grip right where you need it.
